Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) April 8, 2008
Fitness Together Minneapolis St. Paul announces that the "Heart Rate Zone Training to Look and Feel Fantastic" will be held at 1:00 p. m. on May 3, 2008 at the Fitness Together Minneapolis studio in Downtown Minneapolis.
Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in the US; Stoke the 3rd leading cause. The American Heart Association (AHA) states that 67M Americans currently have Heart Disease. Another 47 million Americans show 3 or more symptoms of Heart Disease, according to Center for Disease Control (CDC). Together, that's 40% of Americans.
As the newest addition to the 2008 Orientation to a Healthy Lifestyle Seminar Series, Fitness Together Minneapolis St. Paul Owner and Chief Fitness Officer Randy Zarecki will deliver the seminar. "While dozens, if not hundreds of volumes of heart rate zone training books have been written for athletes to become competitive, very little has written about how an average exercising adult can use heart rate zone training effectively to simply look and feel better," Zarecki said. "You can find plenty of information about what the fat burning zone is, and what the cardio zone is... even easily calculate estimated ranges for yourself, but there just isn't much available for how to digest all of this data into an effective heart rate zone training program to reduce bodyfat, lower blood pressure, relieve stress, improve your heart health, and feel like a million bucks. So, this seminar is intended to do exactly that."
Participants will learn how to:
Understand metabolism and the effect of heart rate Better manage daily behaviors to improve their heart health Change their body's metabolism to burn more fat and retain more lean mass Identify their maximum heart rate Target specific heart rate zones to burn more fat Target specific heart rate zones to build fitness and live longer Use Relative Perceived Exertion to approximate heart rate zone training Manage their exercise habits to reach health and fitness goals The good downtown neighbor Sorella Wines and Spirits has arranged for a special Wine Tasting event for participants at 2:00 p. m. The event will conclude with a Jockey Person to Person Exercise Attire Party at 2:30!
"We've never been much for the fashion patrol at Fitness Together, but this line of attire is both attractive and practical," Zarecki commented.
Cost for the event is $25 in advance, or $35 at the door. Space is quite limited, so call or email us now reserve your seat at 612.455.2246 or ftmspmarketing @ fitnesstogether. com.
