Kforce Inc. and LanVision Systems, Inc. have entered into an agreement wherein LanVision will provide document imaging and medical coding workflow solutions to KforceÂ’s Health Information Management, allowing Kforce to provide comprehensive remote medical coding services, including automated workflow and abstracting.

(NASDAQ: LANV), a leading supplier of medical record workflow technologies, have entered into an agreement wherein LanVision will provide document imaging and medical coding workflow solutions to KforceÂ’s Health Information Management (HIM).

Under the agreement, Kforce will utilize LanVisionÂ’s codingANYware application as part of its medical coding services. The technologyÂ’s workflow automation is a key feature, eliminating the need to manually route patient charts. Further, by enabling KforceÂ’s remote coders to also handle abstracting, which is required to finalize a chart and generate a bill, the coding and billing cycle can be completed much more quickly.
