LoweÂs Charitable and Educational Foundation Donates $1,000 to Adopt-A-Park Initiative
MOORESVILLE, NC (PRWEB) February 14, 2004
LoweÂs Charitable and Educational Foundation recently donated $1,000 to the Chauncey H. Robinson Youth FoundationÂs adopt-a-park initiative. The donation will assist clean up, rebuilding and beautification efforts of Charles Harper Park located in AtlantaÂs Vine City community.
ÂOn behalf of the Chauncey H. Robinson Youth Foundation, I would like to thank LoweÂs for its consistent commitment to the community and environment, said Chauncey H. Robinson, CEO and founder, Chauncey H. Robinson Youth Foundation. ÂThis effort will help rebuild and improve Charles Harper Park and assist in the beautification of an area where youth are present.Â
The Chauncey H. Robinson Youth Foundation adopted Charles Harper Park to make it a cleaner, safer environment for neighborhood children. This citywide initiative hopes to bring the park back to its true beauty.
ÂWeÂre excited to be part of the revitalization of Charles Harper Park, said Robert Egleston, LoweÂs community relations manager at LoweÂs. ÂThis project is just one example of the way LoweÂs Charitable and Educational Foundation is committed to initiatives that improve the quality of life for residents in the communities we serve.Â
