(PRWEB) July 12, 2000

BOCA RATON, Fla -- Registrations are now being accepted in a Boca Raton, Fla.,

Six-day, 56-hour course where students nationwide learn how to operate a home inspection business and conduct professional home inspections using approved industry standards.

Enrollment in the Home Inspection Training Program is on a first-come, first -

Served basis as class size is limited to 10 persons. The course is held in a specially equipped learning lab at The Inspection Institute, 4722 Boca Raton Blvd. C107, Boca Raton, Fla. Lectures, field work and hands-on training are included.

Registration can be done online at http://www. inspectioncentral. com (http://www. inspectioncentral. com) or by calling 800-226-2699 between 9am and 5 pm EST.

"Class size is limited to 10 so we can provide in-depth, one-to-one training in a group situation," said Everett Rawlings, president of The Inspection Experts Inc.(TIE), which has taught about 2,000 persons since its start 13 years ago.

TIE also provides continuing education to inspectors in seminars held across the

United States. The continuing education classes are accredited by the American Society of Home Inspectors.

Also president of Federal Building Inspectors Inc, one of the top five home inspection firms in America, Rawlings said the training program is best for those with some mechanical ability and good people skills.

"It takes time and hard work to build the business, but it's an excellent field where one can make a very good living each year," he said. "From the firefighters in Seattle, Wash., to the mining equipment sales person in Tennessee, we've taught here people from a wide range of backgrounds. "

The demand for inspectors is high, said Rawlings.

"The healthy economy is good

For the home inspector industry. Home sales create many opportunities for top

Inspectors," he said. "And that's the type of inspection training we offer."

Rawlings is secretary treasurer for the National Association of Home Inspectors

(NAHI). He is immediate past president of NAHI's Florida chapter, the Home Inspectors Association of Florida. He also is a past president of the Florida Association of Building Inspectors and former national board member of the American Society of Home Inspectors.
