Top Construction Economists Debate: Is the Economy Ready for a Rebound?
Top economists host a live webcast to discuss the impact of the stimulus and the speed of recovery in the construction industry

The webcast will follow chief economists Jim Haughey, Ken Simonson and Kermit Baker as they discuss and analyze:
Stimulus Impact – Will the momentum continue or is the industry likely to slip backwards once stimulus dollars dry up? Construction Hotspots – Which segments and geographic areas are showing the most promising signs of recovery? Private Sector – How soon will private nonresidential segments come back? Materials Costs – What are the trends and forecasts for materials pricing? The presentation will include a look at current and future residential and nonresidential construction activity including the institutional, commercial, industrial and heavy engineering sectors.
The webcast will be broadcast live starting at 2 p. m. (EDT). Registration is complimentary for all participants; pre-registration is required. Questions from the Internet audience will be accepted during the live webcast, which will also be archived for later viewing.
