Massmutual Expands Arizona Leadership Team
Vlasta Duffy becomes the company’s second general agent in Scottsdale

Industry veteran Vlasta Duffy will lead Integrated Financial Strategies, LLC as general agent for the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) in Scottsdale.
“Vlasta Duffy brings to MassMutual a wealth of experience and leadership in the financial field, which will allow her to impact the communities she serves,” said Henry McCray, an agency vice president for MassMutual.
Working in collaboration with Jeff Dollarhide, another veteran MassMutual Phoenix / Scottsdale general agent, Duffy will build a second agency presence in the region. Duffy will bring full-service financial planning to her clients with guidance on a full range of protection products while addressing investment needs through MassMutual’s broker/dealer, MML Investor Services Inc.
“In these times, being able to offer a strong financial planning platform that can protect people with risk management products like whole-life insurance and at the same time give them the option to do business with a robust broker dealer, is critical,” she said. “People want options with their money. Here we offer expertise in both worlds.”
Duffy will also expand MassMutual’s recruitment reach in the area and also seek to engage more female consumers about the importance of financial literacy and health.
“Arizona has an incredibly diverse marketplace which makes it a fertile ground for recruiting efforts,” said Duffy. “We also plan to work hand-in-hand with business owners to ensure their financial planning needs are being met at home and with their businesses.”
Duffy has two decades of experience in financial services. She is a graduate Occidental College in Los Angeles and received her MBA from Portland State University. Duffy serves on the board of directors for the Phoenix chapter of NAIFA (National Association of Independent Financial Advisors) and is on the membership committee of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners).
She resides in Scottsdale with her husband and daughter.
