Laurie was harassed, stalked and finally attacked on 28 December 2002 in Ontario, Canada, where she lives with her son. She suffered a broken nose, concussion and broken jaw, for starters. Laurie has undergone the first round of surgical operations to begin repairing the damage.
Because of certain legal issues as well as Laurie and her son's security, not much in the way of details may be released at this time. This situation is unfortunately very true and quite serious.
For security reasons, at the advice of her lawyer, Laurie's contact information can't be made public right now. They have her under very tight security for fear of reprisals. Her family and friends are that scared of what might happen!
