Banfield, The Pet Hospital® Signs Agreement to License APT's Test & Learn Management System

Test & Learn Management System to be used across a range of enterprise activities

Washington, D. C. (PRWEB) December 18, 2009

Applied Predictive Technologies (http://www. predictivetechnologies. com/) (APT) announced today that Banfield, The Pet Hospital (http://www. banfield. net)®, the largest veterinary practice in the world, has signed an agreement to license APT's Test & Learn Management System. Banfield, which treats more than 5 million pets per year at more than 750 full-service Pet hospitals, will use the APT software to help advance its goal of making family life better by keeping Pets healthy.

Banfield chose to license APT's Test & Learn Management System after a three-month pilot. Banfield's management team used APT's software suite to help improve decisions regarding marketing, new products and services, capital investments, and programs supporting the practice's professional staff of more than 2,000 veterinarians and 10,000 associates nationwide.

"We continually strive to improve the quality of our service and the care we provide to pets through new and innovative products and programs," said Tony Ueber, Banfield's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. "The APT software helps us test and understand the impact of new ideas before they are implemented in our hospitals. Having this knowledge allows us to make decisions that contribute to high quality of care for Pets and provide an exceptional experience for our clients."

More than 50 Fortune 500 companies, including global retailers, financial service providers, and consumer goods organizations, use APT's enterprise software platform to drive high-impact decisions and support business actions that create tens of millions of dollars in annual profit.

"We are very pleased to have a partner such as Banfield — working alongside its impressive management team has been a valuable experience in understanding how our clients think and operate," said Scott Setrakian, Managing Director of APT. "We look forward to assisting Banfield in achieving its goals of today as well as the future."
