New Psychiatrist Joins the Gatehouse Academy Team
Psychiatrist Daniela Reid will be joining the team at Gatehouse Academy, a co-educational long term drug rehab program and addiction treatment center for young adults and teens.

Gatehouse Academy is pleased to announce that Daniela Reid will be joining the staff this October. She will assume the position of Psychiatrist at the main campus of this respected long-term drug rehabilitation treatment center for young adults. Dr. Reid will be serving residents from all of the residential campuses.
Dr. Reid comes to Gatehouse Academy with plenty of relevant experience. She was most previously employed with St. Luke’s Behavioral Health Center, where she held the position of general psychiatrist. Dr. Reid has always been a staunch believer in the spirit’s ability to change and humans’ right to make choices. The ever growing pressures to make rapid diagnoses and write even faster prescriptions frequently defy these lofty but rather basic rules for healing. It is in this spirit that she now joins the experienced staff at Gatehouse Academy.

Gatehouse Academy is a co-educational long term drug rehab program and addiction treatment center exclusively for young adults age 17 to 25 with chemical dependency and dual diagnosis disorders. Residents are taught responsibility, accountability, life skills, social skills and work ethic, while receiving an equal blend of therapeutic and clinical services.
The academy offers an integrated departmental approach throughout all of its campuses and locations. Each department is unique and readily contributes to the overall goal of recovery for each individual young adult. Everything from the physical set-up of the campus to the interactions of the staff is part of this integrated approach, creating a seamless offering of departments united under the goal of each resident’s recovery.
The Gatehouse Academy’s staff members have life experience in recovery and take a role as “life coaches,” actively mentoring residents. The residents are put in leadership positions, and have to leave where they live for therapy or school and go into town to attend meetings and interact with others.
