Dr. Angela Baylis, Doctor of Chiropractic and Head of Iatria Health Center, has been named a finalist in the WomenÂ’s Forum of North CarolinaÂ’s 2004 Young Adult Leadership Awards (YALA). The YALA Awards honor young North Carolinians, female or male, between the ages of 18 and 35, who have demonstrated leadership in improving the lives of North Carolinians, especially female. The areas of leadership considered for this award include the fields of community service, the arts, science, physical fitness, health care, family, education, business and the public arena. The YALA Award winner will be announced during the WomenÂ’s Forum of North Carolina General Membership Meeting and Young Adult Leadership Awards Luncheon scheduled for Saturday, November 20th, at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro.

The Young Adult Leadership Award (YALA) will honor a young North Carolinian, female or male, between the ages of 18 and 35, who has demonstrated leadership in improving the lives of North Carolinians, especially female. Both the winner and finalists become Associate Members of the Women's Forum for one year and are encouraged to participate in the Forum's bi-monthly meetings, mentoring program and other activities. About Dr. Angela Baylis:
Dr. Angela Baylis, Doctor of Chiropractic and Head of Iatria Health Center, specializes in applied kinesiology, the term most commonly used to identify a system of muscle testing and therapy.
