Omnicom Companies Launch IN:SITE

The Omnicom network of leading global marketing and communications companies, and Doremus, the network’s business communications agency, have launched IN:SITE, the first communications focused cultural anthropology think tank to discern the difference between what people say they do, and what they actually do.

“Through the study of people in their natural environments, we will develop existing models of behavior into recommendations that can be applied to strategic development, as well as to the communications that result,” said Emma Gilding, managing director of IN:SITE.

IN:SITE will forge working relationships with leading experts from academia and business to generate the highest level of thinking and analysis for each client. The first project for IN:SITE is an analysis of the frustration C-Levels have reported about their technology priorities. The study, Decision Dynamics, was conducted this summer by Doremus and the Financial Times. Over 500 senior level executives from around the world participated.

IN:SITE is also slated to undertake a series of research projects concentrating on the three tiers within the DAS (Diversified Agency Services) network of Omnicom. These tiers include: healthcare, consumer cultures and, with Doremus, business-to-business, primarily with the C-Level executive.
