More than 350 women business owners and entrepreneurs from all 50 states attended the Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) Conference in Washington, D. C. from September 28-30th this past month. WIPP is an organization that empowers women to let their issues be heard in Washington.

More than 350 women business owners and entrepreneurs from all 50 states attended the Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) Conference in Washington, D. C. from September 28-30th this past month. WIPP is an organization that empowers women to let their issues be heard in Washington. Debra Murray, President and CEO of Blue Spring International, is a proud supporter of the organization and represented her views as a woman business owner during the three day conference.

Oklahoma business women were key players in the WIPP Conference. Pictured here are some of the Oklahoman women who attended: Terry Neese (co-founder of WIPP), Tina Majors, (Vice Chair Small Business Committee for the State Chamber), Brenda Reneau Wynn (Labor Commissioner), Chris Morriss (Liaison Special Projects for the Secretary of State) and Debra Murray, (President of Blue Spring International). The conference centered around issues of affordable health care, social security reform, tax reform, and telecommunications.
