Cygalle Dias, founder of the Cygalle Healing Spa (CHS), is being awarded with an honorary doctorate by New York College of Health Professions for her work promoting a holistic lifestyle and therapies. Her vision, executed at her spa and through her product line, is to promote a healing lifestyle that transcends into all aspects of her clients daily lives. The College has a similar vision: the protection and enhancement of health - physical, psychological, spiritual and institutional.

The honorary doctorate will be awarded at the Commencement Ceremony for the New York College of Health Professions graduating class of 2009 on Sunday, May 17th. The College, which is more than 25 years old, offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in holistic health and believes and teaches Integrative medicine, which combines the both traditional and complementary disciplines of Western and Eastern medicine.
