Grand Rapids native resident Patricia Gussin will autograph and discuss her heralded debut novel Shadow of Death on April 20th, 2006 at Barnes & Noble Booksellers beginning at 7 PM. A graduate of Aquinas College, Gussin also attended Marywood Academy.
In 1967, Gussin was a first-year medical student in Detroit. 1967 – the year Detroit erupted into the worst case of civil violence since the Civil War – was a time of tremendous unrest, social upheaval, and devastation.
