Mayo Clinic's consumer health information site, www. MayoClinic. com, has been recognized as an "Official Honoree" for the health category in the 12th Annual Webby Awards, an international awards program honoring excellence on the Internet.

This year's program received nearly 10,000 entries from over 60 countries and all 50 states. Fewer than 15 percent of the entries were deemed Official Honorees.
