“Diamond Lounge 2006,” a style retreat celebrating the 2006 Academy Awards®, will offer its celebrity guests extravagant gift bags full of jewelry, beauty products, and clothing, as well as offer a variety of in-house pampering spa treatments, all totaling over $30,000. Each participating company has been carefully chosen by Nathalie Dubois of DPA, a veteran and innovator in the field of celebrity gift suites. Diamond Lounge 2006 will take place March 3rd and 4th, 2006 from 10AM-6PM at the Petersen Museum’s Connor Pavilion.
Companies from all over the world have come together for Diamond Lounge 2006 to delight the senses and pamper each of our celebrity guests. Diamond Lounge 2006 offers its guests six unique experiences: The Sparkling Lounge, The Fashion Studio, The Treatment Spa, Getaways, The Gift Table, and Tastes. Nathalie Dubois has truly outdone herself with this year’s pre-Oscar® gift suite. Every last detail will revolve around the theme of the diamonds, from the décor to the special edition rhinestone jeans by Von Dutch, this gift suite pays great attention to detail and will surely dazzle all who attend.
The Sparkling Lounge will offer celebrities the finest gifts in jewelry and accessories. Giorgio Visconti, Italian line of diamond jewelry, will offer guests a $1,000 gift certificate toward a purchase, as well as offer red carpet jewelry loans for selected guests. Fileena, a jewelry designer from Hawaii, is already a favorite of both the stars and the red carpet. Her unique designs are made from corals and other natural earth elements and are ALWAYS one-of-a-kind. Fileena will be gifting unique pieces and sets of jewelry worth $5,000. Energetix, a favorite of STYLE retreats, will be gifting rhinestone laden magnet therapy bracelets worth $200- they look great and are good for your health! Pink Moon Designs will be offering our celebrity guests handmade evening bags and clutches worth $500, a perfect finishing touch to any red carpet outfit. Ting Bling will be gifting a variety of “bling” items: chocolate candles, cell phone covers adorned with crystal embellishments, and their luxurious chandeliers, worth $1,500.
The Fashion Studio is proud to present Natalie Hinds - by Macy Gray. Grammy award winner Macy Gray has designed a “Ghetto Line” for Natalie Hinds and will be dressing some of our celebrity guests herself at Diamond Lounge 2006. With a variety of gifts including suits, dresses, and jackets, Natalie Hinds - by Macy Gray will offer a total gift of $795. Ogle, a t-shirt line sold at Fred Segal, Barney’s and other high-end stores, will be gifting our guests t-shirts valued at $60. Von Dutch, already established as a celebrity favorite, will be doing a special edition line of denim with hand-placed rhinestones, valued at $275.
The Treatment Spa will offer a variety of in-house spa treatments to pamper our celebrity guests before their big day on the red carpet. DermaNew, a Bevery Hills based company, will be gifting their Facial Rejuvenation System, an at home micro-dermabrasion kit, valued at $70. Beautyblender will be gifting celebrities their patented make-up blending tool as well as their patented Blendercleanser, all valued at $40. SunFX, an Australian based company, offers a unique spray tan. Applied by a technician, this process takes about 4 minutes and gives the body an even glow and boasts a completely fragrance free solution. SunFX will offer each guest an in-house spray tan as well as a gift certificate for a spray tan at any of their participating spas. The total value of this gift is $130. The Chopra Center, world renowned center for body wellness and meditation, will be offering our celebrity guests their Pizichilli massage, valued at $400, a continuous stream of warm herbalized oil is poured over the entire body while two therapists perform a gentle massage.
Varnish, a Melrose Avenue hotspot, will be pampering our guests with manicure/pedicures with champagne and rose petals, in addition to gifting their signature 24k gold fleck nail polish and a Varnish goodie bag, valued at $300. Nue Blue Eriu, Dublin Ireland’s hottest spa will be doing a unique men’s only grooming and eyebrow bar. They will also be gifting goodie bags with products from these fine companies: Anatomicals, Daniele de Winter, Pur Phuel, Pretty Pretty, Three Custom Colour, Peter Thomas Roth, June Jacobs, Toni and Guy and Nue Blue Eriu towels and slippers. A first for The Treatment Spa is the Love Table, featuring the new essential oil perfume Love Juice 18 by Mercedes, valued at $300, and the brand new CD by world famous singer Mercedes.
The Getaways portion of Diamond Lounge 2006 is exceptionally amazing. Unlike many other gift suites, Nathalie Dubois knows how to add the finishing touches that make an event truly stunning. Getaways will offer selected guests a 5 night stay at the beautiful Bora Bora Nui Resort and Mandara Spa. Trip includes a couples massage provided by Mandara spa as well as discounts on airfare and boat transfers to Bora Bora. Nikki Beach, a members only celebrity hot spot with locations all over the world, will be offering selected guests an exclusive membership card worth $5,000. Kumi Kookoon, dubbed “Heaven’s silk”, will be dazzling our celebrity guests with a variety of silk bedding and sleepwear, valued at $4,500.

Tastes, a new addition to style retreats, will give restaurants a chance to expose celebrities to their fine culinary creations.
