Sherman Oaks, CA (PRWEB) September 18, 2003

-Well known actor and comedian, Craig Shoemaker, founder of The Laughter Heals Foundation, says that after 20 years of performing in comedy clubs and benefits around the country, he saw first hand the positive health effects that laughter had on his audiences. Ã’Nothing cures the blues like ninety minutes of laughing.

It's an old saying, laughter is the best medicine. During the past three decades the medical world has begun to take more serious notice of the healing power of humor and the positive emotions associated with it. The effects of humor and laughter are currently being studied in universities and hospitals around the world

Laughter Therapy, now widely viewed as a viable preventive technique for coping with stress, is also being used in many clinical settings as a supplemental tool in the healing and recovery process for everyone from alcoholics to cancer patients.

It's fun to laugh alone, but it's a riot to laugh with others

So, jest for the health of it.....check out this wonderful event! Or pass along this information to someone who may be in need of a laugh. You'll be glad you did!

Pre-registration is required, limited space available.
