Bloombase Technologies to Market Senetas Corporation Encryption Hardware - Will OEM Senetas Encryptors for Asian Enterprise Market
Senetas Corporation, Australia's world-leading manufacturer of high speed network encryption has entered into an an OEM agreement under which its encryptors will be marketed in Hong Kong and China by Bloombase Technologies, a leading global information security company with an established Asian customer base.

Senetas Corporation Limited (ASX:SEN), leaders in high-speed network encryption today announced an OEM agreement with Bloombase Technologies, a leading global information security company from the desktop through the datacenter and to the cloud, under which Senetas encryptors will be marketed in Hong Kong and China under the Bloombase logo.
The agreement for Bloombase to re-badge Senetas Layer 2 and Layer 3 encryptors follows an earlier agreement giving Senetas the right to globally resell Bloombase technologies to secure datacenter, desktop and mobile information directly in Australia and globally through its established reseller channel.
Founded in 2005, Bloombase has an established track record in providing defence in-depth data security solutions for enterprises and government organizations. The unique data at-rest security technologies from Bloombase received dual accreditations from National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Ministry of Public Security of China (MPS).
Senetas CEO, John DuBois said: “For almost a decade, Senetas has had a number of OEM relationships which see our hardware rebadged in certain markets. But we believe this is an important opportunity to work with Bloombase, which has an established client base in Greater China, and to leverage their reputation in providing information security solutions to Asian commercial enterprises.”
Mr DuBois said Senetas would manufacture its Layer 2 and Layer 3 encryptors in Australia with Bloombase livery and would provide training and engineering support for the OEM product. In addition he said Senetas would commit technical resources to investigate development of an encryptor that combined the Senetas hardware technology with Bloombase’s software-based enterprise security solutions.
