Sore Muscles at The Arnold Sports Festival To Get Treatment with Hot Jade Stones

Largest sports festival in the world (18,000 athletes), The Arnold Sports Festival will have an alternative holistic treatment available for sore muscles. Revolutionary Massage table uses far infrared heat to pull lactic acid from muscles while the body is being lifted and stretched.

Columbus, OH (PRWEB) February 23, 2009

The Arnold Sports Festival scheduled for March 6-8, 2009 at the Columbus, Ohio Convention Center is reported to be the largest sporting event in the United States. The 18,000 athletes competing in 37 events in front of more than 150,000 spectators will mean a lot of athletes, a lot of visitors for Columbus, but also a lot of … sore muscles.

But relief will be standing by for athletes and visitors in the form of the Migun Thermal Massage Beds that are being made available for use by a local business, Migun Columbus, and a special promotion for the public in the days leading up to "The Arnold."

Migun, a Korean word for "beautiful health," is an FDA-approved medical device and has been endorsed by the American Chiropractic Association. Incorporating far-infrared 140° jade stones that deliver deep heat from head to ankle, the mechanical bed also intensely kneads the neck, back and legs. This action said to release lactic acid and improve body's energy (or "chi") flow.

Two beds will be available to athletes in the registration area at "The Arnold Martial Arts Festival" with two more set up at the local Holiday Inn where many participants are staying.

This is not the first time that athletes visiting Columbus have taken advantage non-pharmaceutically based "alternative" pain relief. Migun Columbus has become an integral part of many athletes' preparation and recovery from the Columbus Marathon.

According to Sue Miller, owner of Migun Columbus, LLC, "You should see this store in the days leading up to the Columbus Marathon and especially in the days that follow. After the event, runners hobble in, stiff and sore, take a 30 minute treatment and leave "wowed" by how much better their body feels."

Star New Orleans Saints wide receiver Lance Moore, a graduate of Westerville South, is a regular visitor to Migun during the off-season. The system has proven so compelling that Actor Matt Damon purchased five Migun beds for his friends. The system recently received an endorsement from the US Olympic Speed Skating team and its star: Apollo Ono.

For The Arnold Sports Festival, Director of Martial Arts, Tokey Hill actively solicited making the beds available because of his own personal experience with the therapeutic powers of the beds.

Hill, head of Team Tokey Hill, a world wide entertainment organization specializing in the organization and promotion of local, state, national, and international sporting events, is himself the winner of more international medals than any other karate practitioner in the United States.

Says Hill, "I first met Sue Miller, owner of the Columbus Migun dealership, while lying flat on my back receiving a hot jade stone massage at one of my events at the Ohio State Fair. Sue was kind enough to allow me and my athletes to use the Migun bed totally free of charge. I was impressed with the product and its potential to help our athletes."

For anyone (including reporters) who wants to feel what a Karate expert feels, if only after a work out, Miller is offering first-time visitors an "Arnold Special" free 35 minute treatment at her Migun Center in the Lee Plaza, 2509 West Schrock Road, in Westerville, Ohio.
