Rugman. com has been fortunate to have many customers of luxury, hand knot rugs in the Connecticut area and would like to "give back" to the community. An exclusive selection of Persian rugs will be displayed during the month of December with a portion of proceeds going to the Connecticut chapter of the March of Dimes.
"The numbers are outstanding" said Farida Mirkalami, Executive Vice President at Rugman. com. "It's like an ongoing, silent battle you don't realize until it happens to you or someone you know" says Farida. Farida is referring to the staggering statistic that one in eight babies in America will be born prematurely. The difficulties that can arise as a result are truly a testament to the strength and courage of those who have experienced it first-hand. The March of Dimes is not only providing community service and education to these families but has also set a goal to fight premature births and not stop until every baby can be born healthy.
