ActiveStrategy, Inc. Posts Record Performance Driven by New Client Acquisitions and Major Client Expansions

ActiveStrategy, Inc., a leading provider of comprehensive performance management software and services for business and government, today announced record results for 2010. The company's track record of helping their customers improve business results attracted new clients and drove expansions at existing clients, despite last year's challenging economic climate.

Plymouth Meeting, PA (PRWEB) January 12, 2011

ActiveStrategy, Inc., a leading provider of comprehensive performance management software and consulting servicesfor business and government, today announced that the privately-held company achieved record results for calendar year 2010. “In the past year we have dramatically increased our growth rate, profitability, and revenue by doubling the number of new clients and existing client expansions,” remarked Jack Steele, Chairman and CEO of ActiveStrategy. “With persisting economic uncertainty and rapidly changing business conditions, organizations need to focus on strategy and performance management like never before. We help them measure the right things, take the correct actions, and get business results, despite what is still a challenging business climate for many.”

ActiveStrategy Enterprise® (ASE) software and ActiveStrategy Online™ Software-as-a-Service products continue to be selected in competitive situations due to their unique combination of broad and deep strategy and performance management functionality, ease of use and implementation, as well as robust administrative tools and IT integration features.

Jeffrey Bunting, ActiveStrategy founder and COO, remarked, "Prospects have also reacted positively to our ActiveStart™ implementation options, which get customers using our solutions quickly and cost-effectively, whether they are implementing Balanced Scorecards or any other strategy management or performance management methodology.” ActiveStart implementation packages combine software training with specially-designed content workshops that enable client teams to learn about the software, while building their actual scorecards, metrics, initiatives, and other content directly in their ASE software. This approach proved to increase the pace of implementations, allowing new clients to achieve improved business results in a matter of weeks, while also reinforcing the educational content.

Meanwhile, existing ActiveStrategy clients expanded at a record pace last year. “Some clients who were forced to cut overall spending still increased their investment in ActiveStrategy. They told us this was because the system allowed them to operate and manage so much more efficiently that they truly could do more with less. Several businesses and governments also told us that ASE enabled them to make budget cuts more responsibly, since the software helped them understand which programs were effective at helping them achieve their mission and outcomes and which were not,” explained Steele. Expansions were further aided by extremely high levels of customer satisfaction. In the company’s December 2010 survey, 97.6% of respondents said they would recommend ActiveStrategy to a colleague or friend.

ActiveStrategy pointed to a number of new 2010 programs that also contributed to the record results. One was the launch of a program called ActiveUpgrade™, which allows prospective clients to upgrade to ActiveStrategy from other performance management or measurement software that has not lived up to expectations, enabling the new client to recoup a portion of their previous investment. Additional new business came as a result of ActiveStrategy expanding their strategic consulting partner program in North America and their global distributor program in Europe and the Middle East.

Some of ActiveStrategy’s new and expanding clients in 2010 included: AlliedBarton, Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, City of Fresno, Covidien, EMC Corporation, Florida Department of Health, Kaiser Permanente, Louisiana State University, Ohio Army National Guard, Pfizer, Seven Hills Foundation, Time Warner Cable, the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and Wellpoint.

ActiveStrategy’s new strategic consulting partners and international distributors in 2010 included: Amla Nominees Pty Limited (Australia), Business & Decision (Switzerland), Berger Consulting (U. S.), Bull River Group (U. S.), Food Technical Consulting (U. S.), MGB Management Consulting (U. S.), Pamela Brown Associates LLC (U. S.), Performance Management Consulting (U.
