Palo Alto's Most Unique Fashion Destination Celebrates 2 Years with a Host of Indulgences from Local & International Partners to Pamper Guests

Far East Living's 2nd Anniversary Party Thursday, June 28, 2007, 5:30pm - 8:00pm; 540 University Avenue @ Tasso, Downtown Palo Alto, CA.

Palo Alto, Calif. (PRWEB) June 27, 2007

Far East Living, an upscale boutique offering custom tailored designer apparel by Esther Yei Shih, today announced that they will be celebrating their 2nd Anniversary on Thursday, June 28, 2007 from 5:30pm - 8:00pm at 540 University Ave in Palo Alto, CA.

The celebration has taken on a life of its own with many local and international partners requesting to participate. Majoy Dulay (http://www. jaededgeisha. com), a representative from Rimmel Cosmetics, the top selling color cosmetics brand in the U. K. which has been available in the U. S. since 2000, was the first to approach owner/designer Esther Yei Shih about hosting an event offering mini-makeovers to help launch their new line, Rimmel U (http://www. myspace. com/rimmelu).

The timing coincided perfectly with Far East Living's 2nd Anniversary. Shih was then approached by National Certified Medical Assistant Tanya Tucker (http://working. newvision. net) to give complimentary consultations and distribute samples of Mangosteen Plus, a powerful multivitamin formulation that contains 12 full-spectrum vitamins in a base of antioxidant-rich ingredients originating in Southeast Asia, and San Francisco based photographer Kevin Chin (http://www. kevinchin. com) to exhibit his latest collection of fine art photography of Asian landscapes.

"I wanted to host a customer appreciation event to pamper my wonderful clients but my 2nd Anniversary Party has exceeded even my own expectations and will prove to be a fantastic treat for all who attend!" said Shih. Shih attributes her success to rave reviews shared by her loyal clientele with their friends due to Far East Living's very high level of customer service and truly timeless offerings.

"You can wear my pieces today, in 3 years or in 30 years," Shih added. Despite the out-of-the-way location, Far East Living's client base has consistently grown. "My biggest challenge is in getting people to find us. Once they've discovered Far East Living, we have a very high repeat customer ratio," said Shih.

Even Oscar Nominated Actress Michelle Pfeiffer has returned again recently, 2 days before the IN STYLE Palo Alto (http://www. instylepaloalto. com) benefit fashion show earlier this month which Far East Living co-produced.

Guests will also be treated to a mini-acupuncture session by Timothy Nguyen, MS, LAc, Dipl. OM, a founder of the neighboring Energy Wellness Center which opened last month at 528-B University Avenue offering acupuncture, herbs, Qigong, massage, nutrition and ionic detox, as well as a mini-massage by Gertrude Chatman, a founder of The Total Being which offers a customized selection of natural health and health education services with programs that are realistically affordable to a racially diverse and economically challenged target population, plus drawing prizes every half hour and delectable complimentary light bites.

Far East Living's 2nd Anniversary Celebration is scheduled for Thursday, June 28, 2007 from 5:30pm - 8:00pm. For more information and to RSVP, please visit http://www. fareastliving. com (http://www. fareastliving. com) or call (650) 328-0880.
