Join renowned herbalist and author, Susun Weed, at her home in Woodstock, NY, May 14th. She will teach you how to hear the plants with all your senses, and encourage you to trust what you hear.

Do you hear the plants? They speak to you with their forms, colors, tastes, and smells. Are they poisonous? Medicinal? Edible? It's easy to learn their language.

You will learn how to refine your senses and tap into the innate desire for survival and health inside you. End the day sitting with a plant new to you to see what you can learn. Then testing that with the herbal wisdom in books, you may be amazed at how accurate you can be,

“Talking with Plants” will be held at the Wise Woman Center on Saturday, May 14, 2005, from 10am-5pm. The cost is $55 if you pay 2 or more weeks ahead; $65 one week ahead; $75 thereafter. Class includes a delicious vegetarian lunch.

This is an At-Home Day with Susun – new this year! Like her one-day workshops, but less formal and more active. Weather permitting, the class leaves promptly at 10:15 am for a walk in the woods with the goats, where you will have a talking stick ceremony, and lots of time to identify and talk about plants and ask questions. When the goats take a break, a wild food lunch will be prepared and enjoyed. Class size will be kept small to allow personal attention. Class held indoors in case of rain.
